Garbage Service

Tuesdays. Garbage must be out by 7am. Carts may be out the night before and removed from the street after pickup. Stickers for extra bags may be purchased at City Hall for $1 each. If a major holiday falls on a Monday or Tuesday, there is a one-day delay in service. Christmas tree pickup occurs two Tuesdays following Christmas (no tree bags).
RATES: 65 gallon cart- $13, Large 95 gal. cart- $15.

Recycling

Voluntary. One bin is provided and extra bins may be used. No fee. Please follow guidelines.

Bulk Items Stickers

Bulk items are those too large to fit in a cart and stickered items will be picked up on Tuesdays. Bulk prices range between $2.50 and $10 depending upon the item. Examples are: $2.50 - small TV, fan, carpet roll, mattress, door; $5 - recliner, grill, humidifier, water softener, toilet, small sink, lawn mower; $7 - hot water heater, loveseat; $10 - couch, console television, picnic table. No LP tanks are accepted.

Appliances

City Hall arranges for a Tuesday pick up when a sticker is purchased for microwaves, washers, dryers, stoves, refrigerators, freezers, dehumidifiers, and air conditioners. FEE: $25.00 per item.

Yard Waste & Brush Disposal

Service is provided from April 1st through November 30th for grass, leaves, and garden debris only. Yard waste must be placed in a paper yard waste bag. FEE: $1.25 each. Brush and limbs should be cut in 4-foot lengths, bundled and tied. Small bush clippings may be placed in a small container for easy dumping. No stickers are required for brush.
